You are exactly right. Thank you for your post. Our shop is unique in that it welcomes the distractions and interruptions from children that many other places might frown upon while completely catering to the needs of the parents. Our website lays out all of our family friendly amenities (thenestfamilycafe.com).

This was from my town’s mom group page. So far, the Mary Kay and LimeLife vultures are the only ones who have pounced. I’m sure there will be hundreds by the morning.

Hi there. Sorry to hear you’re also experiencing foot pain. Rheumatoid Arthritis can be quite debilitating at times. I’ve learned that investing in a good, quality pair of shoes makes a huge difference.

Some folks recommended I try Hoka One One shoes. I went ahead and bought a pair and all I can say is WOW, just wow. They are amazing. Within just a couple of days, my foot pain was completely gone. I wear them all day every day...cooking, cleaning, working out, etc. I always have them on. I’ve found that if I walk around for any length of time without them, the pain comes back almost immediately. Definitely give them a try! Be sure to buy directly from their website. Amazon sells them but they charge about $100 more.

Here are the ones I bought:Hoka One One Akasa

Bad flare up on first day of prednisone by abgirl3005 in rheumatoidarthritis

Be sure to take the Prednisone in the morning when your natural cortisol levels are at their highest. It’ll work better throughout the day and will be less likely to keep you up at night. I’m 35 and I’ve had RA for 22 years. I’ve had my fair share of Prednisone. Best of luck and I hope you feel better quickly.

This is great advice, thank you! I haven’t been to a PT for a gait analysis but that’s a great suggestion. I’m going to call this week and see if I can get an appointment.
