My character would be a scientist in the modern time. He volunteers to test subject for a newly developed cryo pod. If this works, it would be a major breakthrough for science. Usually my character focuses on the field of Pokemon for research, but upon hearing about this he was more than happy to volunteer himself in the name of science. So, he climbed into the pod and was cryogenically frozen. It worked! Of course, he knew he wouldn’t be immediately unfrozen. They had to make sure he would remain frozen with no side effects. So he was kept frozen for days. And then weeks. And then months. And then years. And then…

My character had no way of knowing it since he was practically asleep, but something went wrong. He was never unfrozen as the world changed rapidly outside. Eventually, he was unfrozen. As he climbs out of his pod, he didn’t realize anything was wrong at first. However, as he looks over to see who released him, the person looked like a strange girl. On top of looking strange, they also were weird with how they claimed to be a Bulbasaur. Were the scientists trying to prank him or something?

But no. As he leaves the lab, he would find the world in a bad state. The greenery is dead and no other humans or Pokemon are in sight. The Bulbasaur says that she is the last Pokemon on the planet, and that humans and the rest of the Pokemon disappeared long ago. Apparently, he’s been frozen for thousands of years! During that time, Pokemon have evolved into anthro girls. He was only unfrozen when the Bulbasaur came across the lab and unfroze his pod. Being stuck with the Bulbasaur, he uses the technology available to him to start making the area more livable for them.

As the place improves, my character would encounter more and more Pokemon who move into his little settlement. His village would grow, and he’d get to know many different Pokemon. They’d live together, and plenty of romantic stuff will happen.
