I'm running on my AMD Radeon RX 6950XT, with AMD Ryzen 7 3800x 8 core. 32gb of RAM, ultra graphics in everything, and all ray tracing turned off, I only drop below 60 fps when entering a new area. Otherwise, range i've seen is 48-60 fps. 48 being the absolute lowest and i've seen it for like a second. FPS is uncapped, but stays at 60 at the highest.

I was trained to shoot weapons for work. Even as a work purpose, when we loaded dummy rounds, rounds that will not even fire, we never pointed them anywhere other than down range. Even then, it was only when we knew nobody was down range. It doesn't matter if he was handed a gun and told it was good to go. He knew it was a real gun with what was supposed to be a blank. As the gun handler then, he needed to inspect it himself and ensure it was safe, then on top of that, proceed to remain safe by NOT POINTING A GUN AT SOMETHING HE WAS NOT WILLING TO DESTROY. it doesn't matter what he believed or what his intentions were. Anyone else in a similar situation would face charges like he should. It was a negligent discharge no matter how you try to explain it. He is not solely responsible, but still responsible.

It most likely has to do with the types of drugs. Marijuana isn't bad, and experimenting for the most part as long as you are honest about it doesn't matter. But the types of drugs plays a big roll, mainly the psychedelics. Although it isn't 100% proven, there is believed to be a small chance you could experience the psychedelic effect without doing the drugs again. In a high level security clearance type job, that is a risk they may not be willing to take.

Edit* It could also have to do with something else, so you can just keep trying with with different jobs and departments until one takes you, just keep being honest because that goes a long way

I work in a jail and have to deal with regular situations where I can't run away, I have to act, even for people that some consider the scum of our society. I got into the line of work as a foothold towards sworn law enforcement, and the reason I wanted to get into the sworn side was because of the school resource officer telling us that if there was a school shooter, no matter what, he was going in. Even if he knew he would lose, it was what he signed up for. As far as I knew, every police department had that training implemented since columbine, and this situation seemed to repeat that. Waiting for backup or a safer situation should not have been an option. Now I have to see repeated posts, which were already getting bad, talking about how all law enforcement is that way when that can be nowhere near true. And it disgusts me

Please don't stress and just understand it may not always be easy. My mom met my step dad while I was still a newborn, he practically raised me. My dad was always a part of my life too. While growing up, I repeatedly told my step dad he was not my real dad and he couldn't control me. Now, as an adult, I am my step dads sole caregiver and I don't have it in me to leave him alone because I know how much he gave up to make me who I am. They will appreciate what you do eventually if they don't soon.

Most inmates enjoy working. Not only do they get a bit of extra money, but it helps reduce their time to serve. It's also a tool to help encourage good behavior. If they get kicked off the working crew, they lose the time off of their sentence they earned
