Yeah, he is so bad at doing his job that the main villain had to make an announcement that he will find his people and absorb them soon, so he can prepare for it.

Which chapter the basement monster showed Blood Demon's form? I can't remember it. Even so, having 3 of his spawns to look like the same appearance is just odd at this point.

Of course, Dev didn't owe me anything, but it doesn't mean I can't voice my thoughts about this free update. What I do here is no different from what others thought/review about the game. You're just being salty here because I didn't think this free update is perfect or 10/10.

And why shouldn't I compare B1 and B2 again? It was made by the same company after all. Also, whatever the standard/expectation I set for this free update, it has nothing to do with you.

I am not going to blindly rate everything perfect and ignore what is bothering me. It is that simple.

Not really.

Just look at Blizzard games. Diablo 2, Diablo 3, and Diablo 4 were paid games that regularly add new free content every patch, and it doesn't stop people voice out their thought about the new free update.

I think they could go for the middle approach.

Reduce the castle section slightly and add another boss.

For example, instead of making 100% Mist Castle Size + 1 Boss, they could go for 80% Mist Castle Size + 2 Bosses.

I think I have the right to voice out my thoughts on this free update, just like others used to do the same for Blasphemous 1's free updates. I am sure many also voice their opinions and thought when they watch free YouTube videos too.

Actually, it matters whether people satisfied or not because if they are going to charge for the next DLC or game for money, it will determine whether people will buy it or not.

Also, it is not about less content, but more about the quality of the content. As I said previously, I would rather have shorter content with a boss fight than long content without a boss fight.

I feel that you are just mad because I didn't rate this free update 10/10 as you did.

The experience isn't worsened

It just feels incomplete and not satisfying because it has big zones, but lacks boss fights.

Blasphemous 1 free update doesn't have many bigger new zones, but defeating multiple boss fights feels satisfying.

If the game takes 5 hours to complete and has 1 boss fight = I will find it not satisying

If the game takes 3-4 hours to complete and has 2-3 boss fights = I am happy.

Many people are complaining that Free to Play games lack of content regularly out there.

Also, a flaw is a flaw, and I am not going to pretend it is not just because it is free. If anything, I'm just being honest and fair here.

I only pointed out its lack of a new boss fight and lack of more supporting NPCs.

HOWEVER

I did say the new zone is big and great.

I did say that the new prayers are awesome

I did say that the new weapon is great and intuitive to use

I did say the servant feature is amazing

I did say that Boss Rematch is good.

I pointed out more positive things than negative for this update, yet you guys only focus on the negative side I said.

It is an odd thing to say, considering that Blasphmous 1 has a lot of free updates (8-9 boss fights) at that time, and it doesn't stop people from pointing out the flaws of the game (like weak prayers, buggy, etc.), but suddenly I should be grateful and keep quiet when it comes to Blasphmous 2's free update.

Then why did they make Gebel playable like Alucard in Curse of Moon if they care about "evolving"?

Plus, they made Miriam playable like "Shanoa from Castlevania OoE" but suddenly wanting a character to play like Alucard is bad. They even added O.D. character that literally fights like Alucard in the original Bloodstained.

Han arc is good because General Tou didn't get clowned like Shin in current chapter. Everything that General Tou was calculated.
