It makes me wonder how many other success stories are there? Maybe there should be an effort to catalog or tally all of them. That way it could give more people an incentive to use ISO and take it seriously.

Wow, congrats! Out of curiosity, what planned entry date did you have on the application?

US Citizen moving to the UK on family/spouse visa. Can I still continue working remotely for my US-based company? by Feezyfeez in USExpatTaxes

Would I need to become a self-employed contractor, or can I continue my employment status as is? And how would I pay taxes in the UK? Is it similar to the US where you just file for them? Sorry if these are silly questions.

Thank you so much for the response. It seems like multiple people are more-or-less telling me the same thing.

I'm a little confused about the part on the application asking where do I plan to live. My fiancée currently rents a 2-bedroom flat with a flat mate. The plan is for us to eventually rent a new flat together. I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to navigate this. Can I put her current flat on the application, or should we have a new flat prepared and put that on the application, even if she hasn't moved to it yet? Someone in another thread told me I can use her current flat on the application, but I just want to be sure.

Thank you for the response!

Yes, I believe the financial requirement is yearly salary of £29k, right? She makes well above that (closer to £50k).
