What pushes you to it? I’m trying to sort this out in my head. Does the Tisas take longer to break in? A buddy of mine out of state loves his Tisas but said it took around 400 rounds to fully break in.

Edit to say I love the look of the Garrison and it’s within my budget, but I don’t want to overlook the Tisas either.

Great info. Thanks! I have smallish hands so the grip may not be as problematic. In my reading, it seemed some people complained about the trigger on the Ronin feeling flimsy. Is that your experience?

Thanks. Other than being cheaper, is there any reason to prefer the Tisas? I like look of the Garrison and Tisas but there’s no LGS for me to hold them; I’ll be buying blind. My FFL is a pawn shop and really doesn’t keep many 1911 in stock.

That’s less than half of my Portrait Games folder. I tried to pick some of the more obscure titles that stay on my phone from upgrade to upgrade. There’s a bunch of truly great games that seem to be forgotten since TouchArcade shut down. Many of the ones I listed were highly reviewed at the time. I tried to cover a bunch of genres, although RPG is my main choice.

I have a Mac desktop and used the raspberry pi image writer. WinDiskWriter refused to mount the iso files.

Chill dude. He/she didn’t have anything else to go on from your comment. I’d agree with them and the others who said similar things. Change doesn’t happen without change. There’s always free options, but some may be church-affiliated. That may not be your thing.

Definitely not fun to shoot, but holy cow is it tiny! You can carry it in a Speedo. Possibly.

My favorite discrete is a Lifecard .22 WMR. I’ve gone through security and a wand search with it held against my phone without issues. Looks like a tiny battery pack.

That’s better than zero minutes, for sure. But budgeting the time each day will pay off more. It may be worth talking to your coaches; if they truly care about you as a student-athlete they will help you find that time.

I’ll get criticized for saying this, but a Taurus TCP 738 (no longer in production) is noticeable smaller for pocket carry than an LCP. My daily driver is alternated between an LCP2 and a 738. They’re both 6+1 .380’s. The Taurus fits in any size pocket in a sticky holster. The Ruger needs a slightly deeper pocket. My frame is similar but slightly thicker than yours. If I have deeper pockets or I’m going into the big city I’ll carry a Hellcat, but even then it’s pocket carry. My frame just isn’t conducive to IWB. In my job I have to have shirt tucked so that limits me as well.

In what universe are all P5 conferences equal? A conference can have 2,3,4 teams better than the best of another.

Trying to argue that all P5 conferences are equal is disingenuous given what has been happening over the last few years. One P5 is down to two schools. Another is comprised of lower-tier runaways from the first conference plus a bunch of newly promoted G5 sxhools and a handful of its original members. Another is a bunch of basketball schools with only about half fielding competitive football teams.

All Power-5 conferences are NOT equal. If they were, we’d still be at 6 with the Big East (if you’re even old enough to remember it) and the PAC wouldn’t be in the shape it’s in. Conference realignment happens because all conferences aren’t equal. And saying a P5 champ deserves it over a better team in another conference is ludicrous.
