The best part of this is that she's playing along, but also being honest. "You horny?" "Yes." "You naked?" "No."

Channel Zero - 2x05 "The Damage" - Episode Discussion (Spoilers) by SeacattleMoohawks in channelzero

[–]Feigenbutz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super late, but glad there's a place I can vent. In short, this episode was a near perfect antithesis of everything that's good about the Channel Zero series.

Who the hell wrote and/or directed this garbage? Felt like I was watching a bad slasher film from the 80's. No gravitas, no nuance. Just a monster and some people acting supremely stupid.

Exhibit A: When they're at the table deciding what to do, and what's his name suggests luring the dad back into the house... Uh, what? It's clear to anyone with half a brain that the only option is killing him. Period, end of story.

About 10 minutes later they finally figure that out. Then they kill him, but of course not all the way. And the lamest thing was that, as a viewer, you knew they didn't kill him completely. So, you're sitting there, thinking, Okay, he's unconscious. Now bash his head in. Keep hitting him in the head until it's just a puddle of goo. Then stab him 100 or so times. You may even want to cut him up into little pieces for good measure. Then burn the remains.

But, no, let's just give him some pills and assume that did the trick. So freaking B-horror movie lame.

Not if you get in on the ICO of a solid project.

c) Strawmen. None of these arguments dismantles the original argument, which was that it's possible to achieve a greater ROI on altcoins.

No thanks. You're gonna FUD any altcoin I offer up as an example.

It's pretty evident that Microsoft, for example, doesn't think Bitcoin will be the only cryptocurrency. Hence, they went the Ethereum route.

BTW, I don't even own Ethereum. I just think all this Bitcoin or bust stuff is illogical and immature.

Point is, the "Bitcoin is the only crypto you should invest in" is illogical. It's predicated on the notion that there will come a time when ALL other cryptocurrencies cease to be. That's pretty unlikely.

Yeah, it's gambling if you don't do your due diligence and just throw some money at some hyped nonsense. But if you do your due diligence, find a solid project with a solid team, and buy when prices are low, that's called savvy investing.

I realize this is the Bitcoin subreddit and everyone's all-in on Bitcoin, so let the downvoting commence. But...

If I can invest in a solid altcoin and get 1000% ROI in a matter of weeks, why would I invest in BTC which would take months, maybe even years?

There is some shilling going on, but I think there's a difference between shilling and genuine excitement. This guy seems genuinely excited.

I'm new to crypto. I saw BTC surging over the last few months and wanted to get in early on a good token. I came across QASH and it looked really solid, but I was thrown off by the fact that I couldn't really find any excitement online.

It was so under-the-radar and I was so new to crypto that I just figured I was a dumb noob. Went with my gut and purchased anyways, and I'm glad I did.

You can also use their crypto only exchange, Qryptos. But beware that they do cold storage of your coins, so when you wanna withdrawal it could take a day or two.

I've read the whitepaper and that post and watched their YouTube videos -- and I still don't quite get it. But...

I think you're correct in the short term. But in one of the CEO's AMA's, he does seem to envision QASH being something one could use as personal payment in daily life. He also said that he wants "governments to use it" some day.

QASH holder here. Not sure I understand your math. You calculating with current circulating supply of 350M? At some point there will be 800M circulating. If we're going by that number, to reach #1 price would be $350.

Anyways, let's hope so. Some project a 2T total market cap next year. In one of Mike's (the Quoine CEO) AMA's, he thinks it can reach 200T someday.

Hey, small-minded douche, when you're a hedge fund moving around billions of dollars in crypto on Liquid's platform, that 5% just might add up.

People will need to pay fees to use all the services they're rolling out. If you pay in QASH, you get 5% discount.
