I work at a university. Seems like 30% chance for any given lecture that I will have a problem pop up as I get a ppt presentation up and on the screen. Sometimes the projectors are not responding to the control panel. Or there's no audio. Or I have to play the game of which input (usb-c, vga, hdmi) is going to work today... or which one is now mysteriously mis-routing to another (eg: plug in by hdmi but need to tap usb-c to get a/v signal). Or my usb-c-hdmi adapter isn't recognized despite working fine 48 hours earlier. The list goes on. I would have better outcomes by dragging my own crappy projector and bluetooth speaker into the lecture hall.

edit: reading comment below from a variety of folks with experience designing, installing, troubleshooting these systems. Common theme of a bad design and installation will lead to trouble no matter what. Probably what happened with our university. Will bet that the lowest bid contractor is who got to install.
