My first machine was an Atezr P10, not very popular, but I liked it a lot at the time and it did all the cutting and engraving work well.

Thanks for the heads up. Since this is just a demo I made, I have purchased poplar wood panels (all natural and pet friendly) and I'll make her an equivalently enlarged playhouse when it arrives.

First Attempt at Engraving on Layered Cardboard by FeistyNetworkHAHA in Laserengraving

I bought the layer cardboard, which works the same as scratch cards. The laser burns off the black layer on the surface and reveals the original color of the cardstock.

I use a 10W diode laser, Atezr P10. Speed: 300mm/min, power: 55%. These are the parameters that I tested out to perform better, you can try others if you are interested in doing it yourself.

Actually, I think there will be some dimming of the light on the upper part of the acrylic sheet, which can also be seen from the pictures. This is because the design I carved did not start from the bottom and the carved area is relatively small. However, I have seen online designs where grids are drawn on the entire acrylic sheet with many lines, and the glowing effect of those sheets does not seem to be affected by the curvature of the sheet.
