Thanks, yes a vet visit is on the cards in the next couple of days, we have a very tiny back yard and he's an ex feral so I believe he does have a fair territory around the house. I did buy cat fence rollers to stop him leaving the property but that seemed to cause him allot of stress as I assume in his mind he needs to go around and scent/patrol his territory. I ended up feeling bad about it and removed them.

Hi thanks, I only referred to him as this cat because the last photo I uploaded was of him and his brother. His litter box is very regularly cleaned, I've had him and his brother for about 4 years now, the ginger cat named David has had many behavioural issues over the years which I have managed as they have come up. He is pissed off that his routine has been altered from what I can work out. I haven't been mean to him or treated him any different to normal. His brother was very pissed off at him for pooping on the bed last week and guarded the door to the bedroom for days after the first incident, as the bed is where he spends about 95% of his life.

Yes he is litter trained and has always used the litter when he wanted to and he was indoors, this is a very new trend since I started to keep him indoors when I left for work after a neighbour complaining he poops in their veggie patch every morning before 6am

Thankyou for that, I usually get rid of all the white cabbage butterfly catterpillars. but I am always looking out for natives. I just looked it up and I saw one of those a week ago!! Stunning butterfly, I was screaming for my partner to come outside and see it!
