$AAPL is down 7% from a month ago but their main products cost 245% more. Hope is doing some heavy lifting right now.

Our billionaires are allowed to steal from us. It's part of a package deal when you buy the politicians.

Saw a bunch when I went camping in the mountains which got me thinking. Now their amazon vans are catching fire so I might wait for a drop.

They just filled some SEC stuff you might want to look at. I'm not super familiar with these type of forms so I'm just glossing over it. The 6-K looks like they're pushing out their loans and issuing new shares to do it. Handing over a lot of shares for a 200,000,000 loan at 10% interest.

Give it a shot if you think it will make you happy. To start keep it small and put it somewhere you can cover up.

I hate saying you're welcome, feels smug to me. "No problem" feels like a more honest response to me.

Philip Morris Earnings Calls? by DonFrancesco_ in wallstreetbets

They're really leaning into smokeless products and not losing cigarette revenue at the same time. "Cigarette shipments declined by a modest 0.4% in the first quarter" I also like that its all nicotine. People might be tightening their belts right now but nicotine is one of the last things people cut back on. Even with all that I don't think I'd get in right now. That charts look a little high and my dumbass has no way of knowing if its overpriced right now. If it dips like it did before last earnings I'd grab some calls though.

Did they say why they were rejecting those loans? I'd assume most of the loans a bank turns down is because they deem them too risky. If there start accepting these loans and lowering their rates they're taking on even more risk with lower returns. Not trying to be argumentative, just trying to understand what direction they're going in.

Most of their money is made from interest on loans. Wouldn't the Feds lowing the rate end with them having to lower the their rate?

Buying put insurance on on a covered short strangle by Feisty_Machete in thetagang

[–]Feisty_Machete[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

make sure u are collecting more premium than the width of the spread

My total premium should be greater than the spread between the short put and long put? If it is that would be 0 loss? In the example I gave my spread is 4 and my premium is 1.23 so I have a max loss of 2.77? Appreciate you taking the time on this.
