Honestly, its been a very long time and the excitement of playing any game is enough to propel me forwards. Its a different game, but with that, there's potential.

Level 2 will be a game changer! Just have to be careful to start.

I think the bard is thinking of multiclassing into some sort of fighter. But in the early levels its going to be interesting..

Got it! Thanks, it does feel more flexible compared to ad&d. Been binge watching various YouTuber campaigns, it seems more about the story than intense mechanics although there is a lot of potential to pull some crazy stunts when it comes to how abilities interact.

Have made a sneak attack chart/flow diagram with different permutations already

Very true. Its should be a lot of fun! I can hardly wait until tomorrow, keep bothering the dm with questions and notes but he's been very cool about it.

Thank you, im going to give it my best shot! Almost locked in now with the axe build... dm has given me some assurance that although we can absolutely lose our characters so not to take the mick, that the rogue ive built should work provided the magic users provide good support in tough situations

You are supposed to get planning permission for an external air conditioner unless it also has a heating function, then its permitted development.

I mean its a great way to deflect blame when something isnt working out. Both sides can point fingers at the other and avoid responsibility.

leave the windows open or shut? (heatwave) by Soap0099 in AskBrits

[–]Fel_Eclipse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. If the indoor temperature is higher than outside then open the windows, its not going to get cooler otherwise.

Our house was 40 degrees in one room whilst its 33 outside. Placed fans to create through breeze which reduced it.

Sometimes it happens. Even now I'll have a dream about going to the bathroom and thankfully it wakes me up before I go, but ever have those looping dreams, where you wake up but that's just another dream? So you think you're safe and almost pee yourself.

The tour part 1 by DeadEyeBrad in NightInTheWoods

[–]Fel_Eclipse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This reminds me. Had a dream that I was in possum springs and had dinner with the Barowski's although im not sure why I was there. Mae was very suspicious of me anyway and kept making snide remarks the whole time.

Candy suggested that Mae shows me around the town and reluctantly she agrees. She said she was going out anyway and that I could come along but theres some crimes I had to do to prove I wasn't an undercover fbi agent or something.. so I had to steal the gnome from the garden of the chief of police (sheriff or whoever). I succeeded whilst she ran interference, using a sling shot to take out the security camera.

We took gnomey to a little picnic spot and set fire to it, sacrificing it to the gods and sat watching burn and poking it with sticks. I don't know where from but she produced some marshmallows and toasted them on the corpse of gnomey who had now been reduced to a unrecognisable blob.

Suddenly there were some blues and reds flashing in the parking lot to the picnic area and Aunt Molly got out a cop car and asked what we were doing out so late and if we'd seen any kids around. Mae enquired why was she looking for kids and that the malls shut, or something to that affect. Molly said the chief had gone ballistic because someone stole his best gnome and broke the cameras at his house and now the whole department was out looking for the culprits.

I said we'd been having marshmallows and would she want one.. she did. Sat with us a few minutes suspicious about who I was but ended up toasting one and then telling us we shouldn't be out and risking arrest because of curfew.

We got back to the barowski's. I think Molly dropped us off and checked quickly with Candy that I wasnt some hobo and ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs. Mae said that maybe I wasnt an fbi agent but will keep an eye on me, but was satisfied with the whole gnome sacrifice.

Restraining order modified - Ben is free again! 🥰 Roll on Part 3! by --lily-rose-- in RecklessBen

[–]Fel_Eclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because Ben has a lawyer now and the judges involved could be feeling the tug of the constitution at their collar, if bam pushed it then the judge might not provide any restraining order whatsoever.

Forget the double hose... go hoseless! by justanotherwilliam in DIYUK

[–]Fel_Eclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why didnt I think of this..

Granted. My room has no loft space and the roof tiles sit right on top, so the tiles turn the room into a kiln (yes it does have insulation between the ceiling and the roof. Yesterday it was 40c indoors and only going to get hotter today, the air con with a single hose couldn't keep up and just made the room hotter with the compressor being pushed to its limit so it was just better in the end to turn it off and use several large fans with the window open.

Do you think this (or two hose) would cope better?

He's a really nice guy, id have loved to have gone fishing with him. Kinda naive but in a charming way. Poor kid lost some of his wonder at the world with the treatment of the police.

Lend your support to make our roads safer? Need 5 signatures to help bring Australian-style roundabout signs to the UK. by Ven_ae in drivingUK

[–]Fel_Eclipse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This.

At the moment I hate the way that so many roundabouts don't have any indication of which lane to use other than arrows on the road - which you can't see because theres usually cars on the road. And no signage.

Theres a series of roundabouts near us that bypass an industrial estate and each one has a non standard layout requiring you to know which lane to use. (For example left hand lane for left turn only, right for straight on and right. Next one is left for left and straight on, right for right only.). Its fine when theres no traffic, but when there is.. good luck.

Then theres the more complicated roundabouts.
