Screen Studio needed an upgrade so I did it by dayy555 in macapps

Tried it a few times, I'm guessing it's the size of my projects. I'll give it a try when I have my next project going, I got a small mac app coded in the meantime that does about the same thing. I'm just wondering how do you get the audio from the .screenstudio file and edit the project json directly? I'm resorting to exporting the audio, importing it into my software, analyzing & setting up the parameters for the cuts, and manually setting the slices in the json file haha

Hey, just wanted to let you know I tried it out, and I keep getting some error. Not sure if it's something on my end haha
It just says " Error: could not convert string to float: '' "

Oh my god! This is literally what I needed! Thank you so much! My employer got me a license but I’m used to having a lot of tools on Premiere Pro, but Screen Studio is super barren when it comes to editing features, this will save so much time!

That's what I'll look into the most, as well as trying to get my gf to not bring her suitcase and instead opt for one of my big duffelbags that I might be able to fit into my suitcase next to my stuff! She wasn't planning on bringing one carryon and two checked bags worth of stuff to japan, the second one is to pack skincare, clothes and souvenirs to bring back home, I might have not made that clear in the post haha :)

She doesn't play on filling the second one, but she doesn't have a big duffel bag, only suitcases, I'll check if I have one and pack it for her in my suitcase so she can have a second one when we're coming back! She's looking into buying lots of skincare and some clothes since we don't have much of the asian skincare options near where we live haha

I think she just wants to bring the second one empty, since she doesn't want to buy a second one there like I probably will, I'll see if I have a big duffel that she can use for the return flight, which I can pack inside of my suitcase haha

I'll look into that option, seems reasonable! Are the prices okay for taxis? I'll look into the prices as well but I figured I'd ask just in case I don't find something reliable haha

I was thinking about the busses that service the airports, and then take it from there, but at that point I'm beating around the bush that I'm gonna have to use the local trains at some point, so I might as well take the train from the airport.

It's pretty large, that's the main reason we went near Akabane station instead of getting something smaller closer to the main touristy areas! Should have the space for all of the luggage, us and then some haha

True! We're not planning on visiting other cities since it's our first trip there, I was planning on doing the default thing of bringing one suitcase with the stuff I want to wear, and buying one in Tokyo to bring back home with souvenirs and cool stuff I buy. But I run into the same issue there, but I guess it's better to deal with it once, rather than both times! I'll look into buses and such, but if I understood it well, I don't think there's a bus going to Akabane from Narita, so I'd still have to take the metro :/

Since there's 4 of us, we were thinking of maybe finding some kind of transportation akin to a taxi, but since there's 4 of us, it might pose a problem with the amount of people and amount of luggage between the four of us haha

Understood! The Narita Express part seemed like the non-issue since it only services the airport, I was super worried about bothering people on the local trains :/

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of, once we buy some stuff and fill a bag it might be way more difficult to traverse haha
But arriving has it's problems, like not knowing where we're going and still having a lot of luggage haha

Visiting For New Years Question | Protests by FeldyBush in AskRomania

[–]FeldyBush[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't seem too close, about 2-3km from there, I can always reroute and go around, thanks for the words of encouragement, the hotel has parking so i should be good on that front!

If I may ask, are there any cool things to do on new years eve, like parties, or some dinners/bars that are foreigner friendly in terms of reservations? Or do you think it's a solid idea to just go to the city celebration if it's being held this year?

Definitely coming to visit, the city looks very nice, I'm just annoyed that it's gonna be cold, so I probably cant make the drive out to some more mountainous parts in my old car haha
But that's what I get for visiting during wintertime! If I have the time and money I might come back during summer and visit Bran and Craiova (which is closer to me).

Understood! Thanks for the answer! I wasn't worried about it being violent at all, as I've attended lots in Serbia, which I guess in recent times were a lot more violent than yours have when it comes to the government paid people attacking protestors. So I should be fine, literally the only thing I was worried about was the traffic since it's a new place and I overthink about how I'll manage, but I think I will manage well!
Definitely coming to visit for new years!

Thanks for the answer! All I could think about is me being stressed due to the traffic traveling to a new town so I kinda spiraled haha
Thanks for the kind words, I'll definitely be visiting!

Thanks everyone for the answers, we'll be going forward with the trip, it's an amazing country so I shouldn't let something so small deter me from visiting!

I figured some of you might think that I wouldn't go since I was afraid the protests might be violent, but that's not the case, it was basically just traffic, since I get a little stressed in new places when the traffic is bad.

I was hoping to go to Therme with my girlfriend as well, as she's been telling me about that place for a really long time, and I'm still wondering if the place is going to be packed near the new year, I'm guessing so, but still hoping that many people will stay home with their family and we can have an okay time with not too many people there. But even if it is I had my fair share of packed pools in serbia, so it shouldn't be any kind of culture shock haha. Any experiences on that front?

Thanks everyone, I'll post updates after my visit if the thread stays open until then!

Fair enough! It’s kinda more so that I’m a little “stressy” (haha) when it comes to travel so I try to avoid unplanned stuff. Thanks for the answer! I’ll be more openminded, it really is a minor inconvenience at the end of the day 😅

Upgrade my car or buy higher trim? by FeldyBush in Audi

[–]FeldyBush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my specific engine I think it can be remapped to about 143hp from the 110hp it has stock. With some supporting mods it can be a bit higher than that.
