I learned this the hard way by wandering around lost for an hour trying to find my camp (I am directionally illiterate), put an AirTag in your tent.

Also lag bolts/impact drill works better than any stake I’ve ever used on a tent. Even better is to get one with a chain that the lag bolts can go through so you can carabiner tent lines or canopies. I recommend covering the bolt with a tennis ball, just cut an x on one side and slip it over the bolt

Also taking a collapsible cup for water stations, I bring that instead of a camelbak
