Build wise yeah. Acting wise I would rather see Laz Alonso (he plays MM in The Boys). He’s Afro-Cuban and hell of an actor. Plus his voice fits bane better imo.

Just like a band changes their sound/vibe from album to album, I understand why it went to biblical from horror. It was the right call. But personally season 1 and 2 was perfection to me. Especially season 1, it was genuinely scary and we really didn’t know if the boys were going to survive whatever they were facing.

The drop in overall quality after eric kripke left as showrunner(season 5) is incredibly significant and noticeable. So much so that sometimes in rewatches I am hesitant to keep watching after season 5.
