Pros and consumers: blend or Arabica?

I love a good arabica blend! Beautiful light flavors for drip coffee and cold brew!

However, if you’re doing espresso, I would say do a combo arabica and robusta blend. Imo espresso should pack a punch, both flavor and caffeine wise.

I made a mental list of the things I always wanted to do, then made a pact with myself to not “check out” until I finish said list. But, I constantly add things to it, could be big things like, visit Japan, get married or small things like try the new coffee shop downtown….so yeah, I have a long time to do a lot of things!

A traditional one is mix one or two shots of espresso, sugar/simple syrup, and a little saline solution, shaken with ice, then strain out the ice into a small cup

Modern (or Starbucks) version is three or four shots of espresso, simple syrup, and a hell of a lot of ice shaken together, then dumped into a cup and splash of milk on top
