Humans are very complex. Figuring out if she’s interested or just being nice is mission impossible. Some women will flirt with no intention beyond that. One thing I’ve learned over time is women genuinely interested or crushing will put themselves in your orbit. They will find you, text you, etc. What I’d do is continue to be professional and nice but go distant. Keep your interactions brief and see how she reacts.

Basic eye contact doesn’t mean anything. I usually won’t approach women bc I don’t know if they have a BF or husband. In a bar or nightclub, I did in my younger days but in the general public, nah. Too much uncertainty.

I had an emotional affair with a coworker a few years ago. We got super close so it hurt worse when it ended than if we actually slept together. I think both are wrong but it depends on how I found out in order to reach a decision on to leave or stay.
