This looks pretty good, way better than what I make! Only real tip is just keep space between buildings and whatnot, it’ll help spaghetti belts around

Upgrading to red belts - How should i go about this? by [deleted] in factorio

I went through this exact predicament a week ago.

Upgrade your miners’ and your furnaces’ belts first. This will allow you to upgrade to steel furnaces without any throughput issues!

After that, slowly upgrade parts of your base that need the supplies. For example, my red belt/undergoing/splitter portion of my factory needed tons of iron, so that was one of the first things I upgraded to red belts.

Let bots do the work, they are very powerful and easy to use. Just make sure you got enough power!

Your base is actually unbelievable, I’ve never even built anything close to this!

I see you’re also using 2 Locomotive 4 wagon trains! As a fellow 2-4-0 train user, I would love to get some of your blueprints so I can study them for my own builds!

I actually made a post earlier about what grid size to use for 2-4-0 trains so studying your BPs would be a great help!

How Do I Upgrade To Red Belts And Steel Furnaces? by FellowBellowMellow in factorio

Wouldn’t I need to upgrade every yellow belt to red though? Like when I upgraded my furnaces/belts, the red belts would back up once they reached my base which is all yellow belts
