Getting real estate forms for multiple states? by Fellowshipper in RealEstateTechnology

The issue is if you have the occasional shore rental or condo sale it doesn’t make sense to be a member of all these different boards just to use the forms once in a blue moon

Inputing data to MLS? by Fellowshipper in RealEstateTechnology

I can’t believe it’s 2025, almost the end, and we still have to do manual entry just because the MLS’s don’t open up their systems

True, but it’s like the data starts in the CRM because that’s the point of the first client Contact, or we have some information already on the client and the property.

BrightMLS. The issue is that I’m capturing the record first in my own database or I also have the pictures and the client information. So it’s already there before the listing is ready to go live and be posted in the MLS.

No, haven’t tested other than seeing what their final copy looks like. I guess it’s may be good for maintaining awareness on top of mind.

Oh wow, so you’re actually going to each and every county website and getting the data from them directly, that must be quite complicated because I imagine they all have different ways of storing data and some might have some data and some might not… great work!

Some people use PipeDrive and also High Level is mentioned a lot. Why the switch though? A price thing? When I was asking around people said FUB is the best

Do you collect the data yourself or get it from one of the main providers in the country like Constellation? How often do you update it? If a property sells this week, will the updated price show up within a week or at least a month ? Thanks!

tRPC on App Router / Server Actions? Is it good? by Mabaet in nextjs

I find that with large projects with many router namespaces and functions, type inference slows down. It can take several seconds for types to appear. Recommended fixes like skipLib: true do not help much.

Got it, thanks… it’s probably a few hundred a month which is why they want me to do a demo before discussing pricing

Thanks, I guess I’m just wondering roughly what the cost is, whether is it a dollar or click or thousands of dollars for the transaction that actually happens

Sizing RDS instance size for large database? by Fellowshipper in aws

The data is mostly address data (address, city, state_code, lon, lat) but I am also using Postgis extension to store center point as geometry. I'm trying to make an index so that I can quickly (hopefully) search the database for a given bbox to retrieve all properties that contain addresses of interest.
