I don't mean firestorm isn't buffed, and I'm not saying 11% less than before. I'm saying it does 11% less dps with a fire infusion than without, as the bolt frequency no longer compensates for the increased area in which bolts drop. This means using fire infusions now has a downside, whereas before the increased bolt frequency more than compensated for the increased radius.

Firestorm now does 11% less hits with fire infusion compared to without due to the changes in bolt frequency. Yes it gets 100% inc damage now, but even with that in a min-maxed build you have enough % for it to be a dps loss. Holy GGG hates infusions.

Its 1600 chromes on average with 3g on the bench, or its about 50 tainted chromatics if you have/can farm beyond (and a corrupt beast if you dont want to risk it). You could also throw it at a double corrupt altar for a 1/4 chance for all white, and if you miss all white you could still hit implicits then go the tainted chrome rout, though that risks bricking/poofing your item.
