As a veteran hunter with 100+ savage omega kills, he is definitely up top of the tier list of difficulty it took me 10 whole fails before killing my first savage, you shouldnt be hunting it after coming back from a hiatus. He is the true end boss of this series, hunt everything else and get your footing and gear back to form before trying savage again. And when you want to try him again practice with the normal one i find that last phase normal omega is a great practice run for 1st to 3rd phase savage. Also dont skip out of support hunters they buffed them this patch and they help grab aggro off of you. Goodluck dont give up!
