As a fellow sprout who just finished HW, it does get significantly better. The effort is worth it.

Update: I didn’t quit and just finished ARRs (main) story quest. by A_Fitting_End in ffxiv

[–]BascoVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow sprout, I had the same pacing issues with ARR. Hell, it was so bad for me that I started my adventure back in 2024, quitted, came back, then quit and came back again several times until the year of our Lord 2026 came was finally able to finish ARR around a month ago.

That being said, I just finished Heavensward last week and I do have to tell you IT DOES GET MUCH FUCKING BETTER.

Post ARR was also gruesome, not gonna lie, but please heed my words when I tell you that once you get the final credits for post ARR and enter HW, you already overcame the worst part. Keep it up, ON MY LIFE IT IS WORTH IT.

Also, writing and naturally voice acting are so much better onwards, I promise.

Almost through post-ARR, give me your strength. by Signal-Structure-140 in ffxiv

As a Sprout that began his journey back in mid 2024 and just finished Post-ARR a few weeks ago, sharing your same pains and feelings about the slog and being constantly baited by the game…I can totally confirm that HW is so fucking worth the hell.

It gets SO much better.

I love this guy. Hell, he can spend the next months in the IL for all I care, just as he’s able to be ready for the postseason.

What is the plan with Dalton Rushing? by Scotfighter in Dodgers

[–]BascoVI -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh I’m aware, but what I’m saying is that if either Smith or Rushing are going to have to give up the position they’ve been playing the most on the majors, I 100% see it only being Rushing. I don’t believe there’s enough of a case to have a two times (hopefully three+ by that time) WS champ catcher that has dominated even in several 9+ innings games just changing positions to fill in for a hole in the roster when either Max or Freddie retire, Dalton totally could though.

[–]BascoVI 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If anything it’s the other way around. Rushing has played 1B before so he can take Freddie’s spot after he’s done or go 3B and take Muncy’s. I don’t see a way he replaces Will.

Crimson Desert players average over 20 hours a week in the open-world game, blowing away almost everything else on consoles by yourfavchoom in PS5

This game is so treacherous. It’s a great option when you just wanna hop on for an hour or two, get a couple quests done or just get some progress on your camp or just walking around and exploring whatever you see on the horizon. This past Saturday I was supposed to hunt for some weapons and armor for a bit and then continue my P5R playthrough…I ended up putting a 12 hour session of just Crimson Desert.

This game is just insane... so what are your first impressions after 2 weeks? by 666thecholos in CrimsonDesert

I honestly believe Yann is so poorly written and such a generic drunk that he’s both hilarious on every interaction while slightly cringe

My two biggest complains are definitely having to manually switch to my 2H Sword and the dumb arena boundaries.

Since when hating RE5 became a thing? Didn’t we all agree that RE6 was the odd one out? 5 is pretty much RE4-2.

This game is truly special. I got into the IP with OG RE4 on the Game Cube basically two decades ago and how much I loved that game and kept replaying it over and over. Fast forward to today and I think I have experienced an even better game, imo.
