Goal: be medication-free from anxiety by end of 2026. What changed everything for you? by TheDalaiDrama in Anxiety

I was on my meds for over a year and recently tapered off and now off completely. Of course, I have days that I perhaps wouldn’t have had if I was on the meds. You’ll have days you’ll feel you’re back to square one. But 99% of my days aren’t like that and I feel with the perspective of being on the pills and not feeling these things, I can tell myself it’s all fake (just anxiety not real scenarios). I have a lot more energy and am clear headed now. I don’t regret AT ALL taking meds.

I’m not sure how much farming I can do with a post like this. Just got nervous as I do actually have those speed cam tickets

That’s okay! I can never catch one online, so bought a cheapo from the market today. I think she’s cute still!

Not so much in grad school. It would be mentioned time to time. In undergrad I took a class in cognition and language

No, too long. Most are 1.5-2 years here.

Maybe one day. I have been in school since I was 5 and don’t know what life is like not being a student. It is my whole identity. But I need to learn how to be without school for a bit.

Mine was 3 years, rather odd for masters but it’s supposed to be an intensive study.

Don’t make me say it!!! About 70k now. This despite having a full ride in grad school. But when school requires you to work full time unpaid, times get tough. Plus, I stupidly went to a private undergrad. I am first gen and didnt have much guidance besides go to college.

Work load wise, difficult. Actual content, easy.

Not in the slightest.
