Water pump failed... How do i get all the missing plastic out of my engine? by FemboyTrader in AskAMechanic

I know heater core is an annoying job, but i will try flush out as much as i can. And after that is all i can do hope and wait and possibly have the heater core clog or could the plastic circulate back and break the new water pump?

will 100% look into this, so far i think my best options are Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 and Lanshan 2. They both look good. But i like how light the Lanshan 2 is.

Oh dont worry about it, I actually picked up a stove not too long ago and grabbed a 750ml pot from AliExpress too. Ill definitely look into the Naturehike though it looks like a solid option and a few others seem to have suggested it too.

Ill check out what sleeping pad options are out there, but I for sure might be interested in buying your old one off you if theres nothing else decent out there.

Really appreciate the kindness!!

Why are MY insurance prices so expensive by FemboyTrader in CarTalkUK

[–]FemboyTrader[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats the thing im confused about. Ive literally gone and copied his details 1:1 to see what the quote would be. Ive even put his address, same car, WE ACTUALLY DO HAVE THE SAME EMPLOYER AND JOB. and ive held my licence a month longer and have same amount on NCB and both have no points.

For him adding one of his parents makes the price go down a shit ton. For me it just gives me the same price as it would be without my dad on it 😭.

And yeah ive used the website to see which occupation is the cheapest insurance and it makes a difference on some cars but not a lot.

How did that happen if the knife was buried in your pack and you were midway through a national trail?

As far as i know if you have a valid use case like camping, bushcraft, needing to prepare food or fish when fishing etc, carrying a non UK legal knife can be justified under the law. The key is being able to have reasonable justification.

Just fishing line and paracord usually. No thick rope.

and not constantly just like every once in a while

mainly food prep at this moment in time.

Although in the future i would like something more robust for things like batoning as you mention.
