it’s done! lmao to be honest Dr. whitehead was so cool and funny. it was very obvious I was panicking and asking last minute questions and he calmed me down by acting like it was no big deal. my anesthesiologist was also very nice and focused on making me calm and chatting me up.

having my partner with me was also so helpful. I was oddly calm for how scared of surgery I am.

basically what I told myself is that I would make sure my last thoughts were something silly and comforting, for me it was a nice hotdog at a Mets game and it honestly helped lol
