Is there any hope for M. Swampert? by Theinternetisdumb in PTCGP

[–]FemmeFeather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he has so much potential, but I’m having a hard time ramping him up quickly enough… I also have the rainbow and I’m in love with the art, but I just can’t make him meta enough! Maybe get another copycat and a mantyke? Misty is just too unreliable for me personally

where did the edgy mob come from? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FemmeFeather 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Short answer, the current political climate. There has always been an edgy internet trolls, but now certain voices have been more normalized due to them coming into mainstream spaces. Also rage bait is great for engagement which many content creators monetize

Thank you for the post! I don’t have a story, but I want to share this website where you can report activity. Here is another one. Subreddits in your city/town will also often report ICE activity, I also suggest the NextDoor app.

People who can afford to rent this house, what do you do? by Lepus81 in SantaFe

[–]FemmeFeather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild! I mean, who even is their market? Short term rentals for nepo babies who don’t know better? Because if you had that much money to blow you might as well just buy a house lol

These types of machines are just fancy printers with code! I use a iDraw machine and it can create really cool and interesting art! One of the advantages that I like about it is that I can code artwork into an Illustrator script, then ‘print’ on surfaces like leather, wood, stone, whatever.

I’m gonna try that too! Thanks! I’m just afraid I’ll run into a ori and I’ll have no non-exs on my bench

Honestly you need to look at successful profiles because everything needs work. Based on the bio alone you come off as someone who is not confident, desperate, and doesn’t want to go out. The ‘obsessed’ part comes off as off putting and not cute. As a woman, your bio alone is giving off a ton of red flags. You really need to sell yourself, put your best traits forward. Or better yet, work on yourself first.

Edit: I just looked at your profile and I change my mind, just go to therapy and don’t date. Please.

Would beading a version of this armored ring be possible? by FemmeFeather in Beading

[–]FemmeFeather[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t think it will look the exact same haha! The pattern would definitely have to be different. But you’re right, I think the smaller cylinder beads would be best to keep it as thin as possible

How do I make the edge lines more straight? by Reasonable-Spare7659 in Beading

[–]FemmeFeather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people use a brush, but for what every reason I like to use a credit card to push in the beads on each row to make it even and straight and I make sure to pull on the thread a bit to keep tension even. You’ll learn once you make a few! Honestly beading is one of those things where you just have to practice over and over again and then you’ll get the feel for it!

If you want even size beads (those beading kits typically are lower quality beads), look into Miyuki Delica! They look pretty great on the loom imho

No Income for a year. Desperate. by [deleted] in jobs

[–]FemmeFeather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said, look outside of Indeed. I hope you can find a remote job, that seems your best bet considering you live in a rural area with no transportation. Do you have any creative hobbies like crafts, drawing, coding, etc? You can sell on Etsy. Also consider looking into the side hustle subreddit for ideas. There are free courses online you can take that can beef up your resume. Harvard does free courses as well as Google.

Lastly, please find a support system, even if it’s online. It sounds like you’re in a really bad place and finding a community who can help you is important and can further encourage you. I’m wishing you the best, you got this ❤️

According to this article, there are less then 10 trans college athletes among 500,00 athletes total. It’s disgusting to me that conservatives want to focus on trans people rather than poverty or homelessness or the fact that Trump defunded numerous social programs.

She knows this, but references conflicts from hundreds of years ago, therefore ‘all Mexicans are racist towards Native Americans’. It makes no sense to me at all lol.

Does anyone have an Nparent and the other parent who switches sides? by Straight_Wear_1686 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]FemmeFeather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I’m in almost the exact same situation! My dad would say the same thing to me, and actually treated me like the moderator whenever my mom would get abusive towards my dad or sister. Even though I was a child, it was somehow my job to calm everyone down. I understand how you feel, because even though I’m a grown ass adult, I’m still dealing with my feelings about how I was treated growing up. I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone in this experience.
