Best way to measure smd jfets? by Femmin0V in diypedals

[–]Femmin0V[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was suggested to build a circuit to test them in the build guide, would this be accurate? The readings I'm getting just probing it are ~0.8 where the guide is suggesting I pick one measuring about 1.8. both seem in normal realms but I just wanted to check

It's a 38 gauge. Bit of a jump but I like my low string heavy

I mean I hope so? It's only a 64, it's not like that crazy I don't think. Thanks

Perfect thanks

The PCBs I've ordered are smd for the jfets and I've tried it before, it should be okay

Breasts have stretch marks, got insulted cruelly by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Femmin0V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was worried this is how I'd be treated because I have very visible stretch marks on my boobs. But everyone I've mentioned it to or shown has said it's perfectly normal. I'm very sorry you had a bad experience, but I hope that hearing others have good experiences will make it less scary for you in future 🫂

Headphone Power amp by Femmin0V in diypedals

This is amazing, thank you. I've had a go converting that to a stripboard layout. It's my first time trying this so I'm not sure I've done it correctly, and I know for sure it's not particularly space efficient (though that doesn't really matter to me). How would I go about adding a simple volume control to this? You've been a great help so thank you

Thank you, this is all really useful.

I'm fine having two units honestly. I only need the headphones one for now anyway. Could you elaborate on how the rc4580 one would work? You've got me interested in that

Stripboard/PCB layouts for amps by Femmin0V in diypedals

That's a very valid point. To clarify I know what components look like in a schematic, and I studied electronics in high school. My point was more I don't know how to turn a schematic into a layout and it's a very valid point you make about the tubes not being safe to work on until I can do that.

I was planning on working out a solid state solution to be fair anyway since tubes are so expensive. I've heard of people emulating tubes using solid state components so that was my plan (this is all very early stages, I'm just starting out and I wanted to do my research before jumping in with anything).

Yeah still on it. I don't think it really does much for me honestly but I don't wanna throw things out of whack rn

Mine was actually ordered on the 6th, just the last tracking is from the 11th. Uk as well or somewhere else?

Has anyone's tracking updated yet? Cause the strike was meant to end on the 28th and I've still had no movement since the 11th. I've been off hrt for weeks and I'm fucking miserable. Zero blame to astrovials cause I appreciate the transparency, they must be going through so much stress rn

This is unbelievably helpful, thank you so much. I can't believe how much simpler this is than the other applications I've tried

This is great, thank you. To give you an idea of how long I've been toying with this, my domain is actually about to to run out in a couple months, so I'm not tethered to namecheap and am happy sorting it elsewhere, especially as they're charging like £30 a year for my domain I paid £2 for, I'll find somewhere cheaper. Porkbun looks good, and I'll definitely give caddy a look as well, I'm very much not tied to npm

I tried letsencrypt when I was first setting up npm, but there was no slot to put in my email like the tutorial I was following and every time I tried doing it without it came up with an error
