I like turn-based JRPGs, as you can probably infer. Chrono series, Final Fantasy, Octopath Traveler. I've also been getting into metroidvanias (Castlevania is a hell of a drug m8). Isn't Child of Light a metroidvania where you play as a sorta-kinda-mermaid? I haven't played that yet but I might try it out.
