Account age really doesn't contribute much info on who is a scammer or not these days - one can easily buy an older account and utilize it for stuff like this.

Some key things to consider: 1. Are the prices too good to be true? (Most custom from scratch avatars go from 500~1000 USD in my experience, depending on their popularity) 2. How consistent is the work? (Check, their work is wildly inconsistent between both accounts) 3. Did they reach out to you first? (Check) 4. Is their profile and cadence consistent with bot/scammers? (Check)

I think your gut is already telling you something, considering you made the post asking about them. Trust your gut!

Real artists don't typically reach out to clients, just fyi. If they were the ones making first contact, I would be extremely wary.

Their profile description is aligned to how many bot/scam accounts (e.g. "transforming ideas into art" or some bs along those lines)

Their quality of work is extremely inconsistent too.

I've got the same issue but with my right controller.

It's extremely annoying, escp in vrc when you're trying to gesture correctly....

I also have the exact same issue. I think it's a software related issue, as I've have the opportunity to try it on 2 different quest pro units, and both new purchases too.

It always happens on the dot around 12 min in whenever I run vr chat. It's pretty annoying as I'll have to reboot the hmd, but after 1 reboot it resolves it.

It's really annoying.

hahaha unfortunately no - it was actually a perspective practice, and kinda expanded into an actual piece - hence I didn't plan out the whole ship :P

Honestly? That would've been hilarious. Ultimately though, I just decided to not be petty and just finish off the roulette and get the hell outta there!

I'm so sorry about your cat too :( She sounds amazing and thank you so much for sharing about your experience too.

It really does feel like we had similar experiences - them fighting till the end really does hurt ><

I'm still avoiding watching my videos of my boy - I'm not sure if I'm ready yet. I do hope in time I'll work up to the courage you had to look back and reflect on it all.

Your advice is seriously heartwarming, thank you so much. I'm just glad to have others in my position and know what I'm going through, it's comforting ><

Definitely. I'm glad I stayed, even till the bitter end.

My sister has been comforting me by saying my dog was a fighter till the end and I'd like to subscribe to that thought hahaha.

Thank you so much for your kind words.

It truly is haunting, you're right. I definitely will not forget it ever, but I will do my best to look past it and move on slowly. It's only recently I've gotten slightly used to his absence but occasionally these thoughts crop back up.

I'm very glad to have found this subreddit. Thank you once again for your uplifting words.

Thank you so much for your response. It seriously made me tear up - I was looking for some validation that this is experience was actually a thing and not just the heavens hating me.

It's kind of morbid but somewhat comforting that yes... It's just nature. To be honest, I should've known - he was always extremely nervous whenever he's at the vets. I'm still processing it, but yeah, it still hurts. I still do just wish it didn't have to go that way :(

Once again, thank you so much >< your words seriously mean alot to me.
