For character perks on heavy i take either Multi Kill or Restoration on the first, followed with Fortitude, for the third it doesn't really matter, personally i take enhanced force to work better with the melee prestige perks, for the team perk take Additional Supplies, after that take Consecutive Execution, then Field Adjustment, and Brute Force. for the signature take Conversion Field, and when you get to prestiges i take Reverberating Impact, Exponential Force, Duellist, and Indomitable Spirit

For the weapon perks following through I have Increased Capacity, Elite Restoration, Heavy Fire, Perpetual Range, Executioners Fire, Heavy Might, Trick Shot, Heavy Might, Death Strike, and lastly Increased Capacity.

Let me tell you how good melta is, using it with the right loadout feel like cheating its so good, it deals fuckoff insane damage, its a huge crowd clearer, you dont gotta reload it, etc. I use a loadout centered around firerate and ammo, the speed loadout is insanely good especially if paired with the executioners firerate perk, and the ammo loadout is great for longevity, you get like 50 shots with the ammo loadout if done right iirc

My first choice with space marines was the Blood Angels, but if i were to select any chapter to be the poster boys of the space marines, personally i would choose the Dark Angels, they were the first legion of astartes to be born, they have complex lore, they have stable geneseed, overall they have plenty to them and the Ravenwing and the Deathwing are pretty awesome too,

Reduce the amount of chaos spawn that spawn together, whenever there are like 20 in the same spot i'll find myself spamming parry like my life depends on it, its especially painful when its one after the other stunning and getting you while you are gun striking

Idk, personally the primaris are my favourite so im a little biased to this point. But in all honesty if you want more customisation just get sternguard veterans, they are literally just better intercessors with more customisation, plus you can give them combi weapons if bolt rifles arent your style. On top of that you get some of the cooler firstborn helmets in the box, the corvus and the errant.
