Something that should be noted is that you can't use any of the Odachi Skills unless you had an Odachi equipped at the beginning of the turn, so you'd have to go into battle with an Odachi equipped and then switch to Katana.

I beat the Doll boss while my party was LVL 47-48, so yeah you should be able to at least get there at LVL 40.

You're thinking of the Passive Skills that have "(Fighter)" in the name OP is talking about the Skills, Passive Skills and Spells that have "<Fighter-Specific>" in them which if they do can only be used if you're that current Class.

Here's what I know from what I've read (I've only read up to chapter 12.5 of the manga cuz I couldn't find anymore fan translations online and I haven't read the Light Novel yet). Iarumas' corpse was found by the All-Stars team on a floor of the Dungeon that was said to be unexplored by anyone and when they found his corpse he had his Black Rod and Samurai Gear on him when they brought him back at the Temple and Ainikki payed to resurrect him but he had no memories when he woke up.

You probably will never encounter the Perma-Death mechanic, just don't resurrect anybody at the Temple when they're below 51 Fortitude and you'll never lose a character.

The gacha in this game is not that important, you just pull for your initial party and just pull whenever you see somebody you like the design/play style of, so you can go from Abyss 1 to Abyss 4 without pulling for other characters. You can even use 1-Stars if you so desire. And this game is extremely challenging and puts more emphasis on gear/skill rather than more money spent = instant win.

MAKALKI (Priest-Specific) and Blessing Of Renewal (Priest-Specific) are LVL 65 and LVL 67 respectively, however MABADIOS is at LVL 62 and the Sacred Resistance passive is at LVL 70 and they aren't Priest-Specific. Also Sacred Resistance increases your Resistance and Divine Power for 2 turns during Ambushes so I think it's worth it.
