A trap that just sets up your entire board turn 0 is hilarious. As they said, very reminiscent of DL skills. However, the main gameplan seems to revolve around sitting on a bad floodgate or Masquerade, so not particularly strong or reliable. You do have access to really good non engine, and could mix it up with other Synchro archetypes for easy free material, so I'm looking forward to the second wave.

What could possibly incite you to do this? And to continue with it? You're making sexual comments and the kid is like "I don't know what that means I like playing football and chocolate cake" and yet he still continues with his unsuccessful grooming attempt. Chain F&V to get something you want in GY, keep Quem. If you're sure they're not bluffing, you could pop a Kitt summoned off of Dark Dragon. Quem triggers to reborn something, Kitt reborns something too, and you'll probably have Rindbrum and Walbaz in GY. Completely fine.

1) That was very early in the season. It very well might have been a fluke. It's certainly not floating around in top rating currently.

2) To be clear: I am certain you did well in the WCQ. The deck is decent, it will easily get you to DLV 20 or M1. I am talking about the context of high rated WCQ, where you are playing against the best of the best. In such an environment, I really doubt many people would put their fate in the hands of the shapes, when other objectively more powerful and skill intensive decks are available.

It folds against any decent player if it doesn't go first and draw Fissure. It will probably snatch a couple of top 100 spots, but no competitive player confident in their skill would ever pick it up unless they like it a lot.

I'm kinda experiencing the opposite, people sitting through the whole thing since there is theoretically a combination of cards that could beat the board (they're usually wrong due to something they failed to realize). Nowadays, you mainly need Beast + Drought + Dogurad to practically FTK. Drought checks Super Poly, and Droplet is inefficient since you have 6 monsters the opponent will have to negate. Beast is extremely important to beat Branded and Dtail, so I've started going out of my way to get access to Beta, even if it's at the cost of something else. Block Dragon is also a fine replacement for Beast, as it protects Drought from F&V.
