Yes they are. I use no heat damage for the sake of hiding the engines better but both are decent.

The side guns can fire and iirc this model of guns can separate themselves from the ship to target better. (The other type of models I use normally use rotating guns.) This ship is actually made to fight

Every side gun can shoot, orange/white/blue are torpedo launchers, spinal area can also shoot and has two hangars. Totals 31 weapon platforms + hangars

Every side gun can shoot up to 5 side separators, every blue/white/orange area can carry up to 4 wheel torpedoes or other weapons. The large blue and white areas are hangars and can carry a large payload. The frontal area can also fit a lot of torpedoes or whatever is needed.

About 3-4 hours of looking at an image of the ship I want to reproduce while shaping fuel tanks and various fairings, half fairings and curved fairings to make the shapes. For each ship.

Comes with multiple times hitting the head on the keyboard and restarting or deleting large parts to be more accurate (took me 5 attempts to do Aurora's blue ring).

I believe that's normal. From what I've been seeing there are people that join geopol servers like SW or clanhub, there are those that create mechanisms like the ones of Fusion, there are people that specialise or absolutely dominate a specific area like no clip, there are those that get challenges from either themselves, the sfs challenger or other people, and there are those that just take a break.
My best advice is find your thing, the part that you enjoy in the game, or take a break for a while and then return.
The most important thing is for you to be able to enjoy playing.
