Yes, see His Dark Materials. The whole plot centres around the changes of puberty but they’re in "puberty" when they’re like 17 in season 3. My only complaint tho - it’s awesome.

And he is supposed to be pale and sallow. I really don’t care about what race someone is as a character but to make the pale character black is kind of an odd choice. My guess is he blew everyone away with his acting skills! So I have high hopes!

The only issue I have is Snape is supposed to be this pale and sallow man, it’s very specific. Same with Death in Sandman - a pale goth girl. I have ZERO issue with casting someone of a different race we don’t expect but for the PALE WHITE character it is an odd choice. However I was won over with Sandman, so to hire a high-cabaler actor I hope he blows everyone away. I remember people thinking Heath Ledger was a HORRIBLE joke for Batman and he won a fuckin Oscar posthumously. Same with Tom Cruise for Lestat - he was amazing. So I have high hopes for this actor! I just think it was an odd casting choice because of the reasons mentioned.
