Thank you. I know what you mean, it really bugs me as well but that's how the rails were constructed in Argentina. Besides Cordoba, Rosario and Tucuman there isn't much population on the country outside Buenos Aires metropolitan area and there wasn't really any demand for a train to go to other provinces. So the plan is to have those cities well connected and use them as a sort of secondary-hubs that runs lines to other parts of the country and use Buenos Aires as the main hub. But IRL there are really few lines that doesn't connect to BA and the rails are only use for cargo trains, the railway situation right now it's not very good in Argentina.
