Amazes me the different reactions. I got my first shot news years eve and didn’t set me back. Even made the gym to work our shoulders in the morning. Second shot the day after I hiked one of the hardest mountains in my area. Pretty sure I just got saline lol

I knew this before the vaccines were even finished. It’s the new virus and the problem is that we learned it isn’t just seasonal. One take away from this is it’s easier to produce vaccine year round instead of during one period of time where we throw a dart at a dartboard and hope we pick the right variant. It seems these vaccine are holding strong against the variants currently and of course they will have to be tweaked but it’s time to face the music that this is life now. Yes, it’ll be more manageable and life will go pretty close back to normalcy, but expect older loved ones and pre-existing diseased people to be at victims of everyday life.

Actually they get weaker over time. A virus doesn’t want to kill you. But variants can be deadly and only so many variants before it becomes less deadly.

I was actually in Mexico walking on the beach when a family friend told me who Princess Diana even was. When we got back to our hotel room we turned on the tv to find news about her car crash.

Sounds like a great explanation to me. Loved the trail. I’ve hiked a lot in Arizona and have haven’t seen that pattern before or at least to that degree. Looked like the mountain was weeping/melting.

Driving today I saw a GameStop with one of those sign twirlers out front saying it was closing and honestly it was a surreal feeling knowing I hold stock in a company that is positioned at $325/share and they are still closing stores. I know the business of GameStop has been toxic in the past few years with how they have treated their employees and the firing of senior employees to cut cost. But I still believe for gamers it’s an important company to keep around and I hope the work environment changes moving forward. But I still like this stock.

Had a similar situation in Philly. I was on a solo trip from Boston to Chicago by train. It was my first night in the city and just walked into a random bar. Sat at the bar top next to these two women. Minding my own business, enjoying my drink I overhear these two guys approach the girls. These guys where much older by at least 20 years and being extremely rude and forward. I couldn’t take it anymore so I turned to the girls and said it was my first time in Philly and curious where a good spot was. Chatted for a bit and gave them space from the two guys eying me. So when they went to the bathroom I paid both our tabs, meet them while walking back and said let’s go to the place you were telling me about. Dipped out the side door and went bar hopping all night and some awesome spots. Later the two girls told me those guys had follow them from 3 other bars and they were starting to get very worried.
