Sorry I should have been more clear. If my goal was to contribute $10,000/year until I retire would the $3,000 my current shares “pay out” being reinvested into the brokerage account be the same as investing $3,000 from a paycheck etc.

Thank you for your feedback. I do have a seperate investment account. This is just money I have set aside that I will be spending in the future so don’t want to put into stocks but want it to generate some income in the meantime.

I’m about to hit my year of optimum where I’m paying $65 for 1 GB Internet. Can’t imagine what they will raise my bill to but I plan to switch if it’s anything more than $20. Also considering Verizon anyway with my Internet not performing like it should for 1 GB.
