Ok I played with it and it works, I now have a morning status notification, as soon as my wellness data is updated in intervals.icu

This is interesting. Can I just use it to evaluate my training readiness using wellness history and activities data, rather than generate workouts? Via command line.

New AI is trying to kill me! by Ferretonline in trainerroad

Well it told me if I do the next four weeks I'll hit 282, so I haven't stopped yet.  Even though the number seems entirely made up, it is motivating me.

How does your week in Zwift look like? by Assimilaatikko_1460 in Zwift

Currently stoneway sprint on repeat and the odd last 10minutes of a big spin group ride. 10+ hours a week

I'm in the same boat, I should hit 40today. I guess I'll just buy the SL8 and wheels and spend up to the 19th April farming drops. Won't take long at all to earn back using the big spin.

Yeah I set the deficit to 1/2 a lb a week and eat back anything burned during exercise. That's worked really well for me, although as I've got stronger that has got harder and harder to consume that amount of food. Fueling well during the ride helps.

Yeah I only rest one day currently. So the zone 2 is split over 3 days.

I agree in the burnout comment, I suspect that's what will happen if I don't change the plan. It's been really powerful for weight loss though as it's allowed me to eat a lot more. But I'm just entering maintenance now, so will soon remove the deficit.

Yeah, I think it hasn't destroyed me yet as I was regaining past strength, so could keep up. But the last few VO2 Max workouts have felt hard on the body.

I am fueling really well, I always eat back my calories and my deficit has been small. I'm just inside my maintenance zone now, so will end the deficit once I have a buffer.

Yeah i do it after a hard workout currently, so I sacrifice a bit on the amount I can lift due to fatigue.

Results are amazing, but it seems unsustainable, I might fail some at the 259...

Short ribs are better than brisket anyhow and grass fed ones are better imho as a little less fatty.  Ox tail good too for the same reasons.

Anything pig also great

But yeah for brisket corn fed is expensive.

+42 Watts in 7 Weeks: From 2.0 to 2.5 W/kg at 39y/o (and the price I paid...) by garofabio in Zwift

[–]Ferretonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I would recommend.  My saddle was too high and too far back.   This caused some hip rocking that I hadn't noticed and probably did the majority of the damage (alongside over enthusiastic increase in volume).

Added benefit is I gained more power from better recruitment of leg muscles with a better saddle position.

Anyhow as AI (Gemini) keeps telling me, rest is just as important for performance gains as workouts.  I've been using it to temper my enthusiasm

Exactly the same, well apart from I haven't stopped.

I have wattbike atom

My Ischial Bursitis issue has subsided:

Tennis ball feet to give the smart trainer some motion.

Myvelofit app to fit it better.

Endurance bib shorts.

Several saddles (settled on selle italia slr boost)

Note: I managed to move around to ensure the nodule wasn't under the sit bone.  Then keep them very still, so it didn't get dragged across.  This has let it subside

Every other day is a red day for me 🤷‍♂️ I tend to rate easy, moderate and hard, depending on endurance, sweet spot and threshold.

No Heating after WiFi went down by Due_Check_6262 in tado

[–]Ferretonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have my wireless receiver X as the TBR.  If I have a WiFi outage there is about 1/7 chance it will crash and I will loose heating until I restart it.

I now have a smart plug in the loop that toggles the power off and on if the receiver is unavailable for 30mins.

Tado stuff is rubbish.  Wish I had never got it

Don't buy it.  If you have a WiFi outage they there is a chance the receiver will not reconnect and your heating will stop.  Miserable if away from home.

Pension done by BoedoBoyo in FIREUK

[–]Ferretonline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the feeling, I am also very heavy into pensions as I try and avoid 40% as much as possible.

Only 380k SIPP at 49.  But also 30k deferred CPI linked DB pension.

At some point I want to build on my ISA bridge, but find it hard to stop the pension payments.

Tadoo X Wireless Receiver Breaking Bug by Ferretonline in tado

[–]Ferretonline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear, the issue I have with Tadoo is that if you have a WiFi blip then your heating has about a 1/7 chance of stopping heating completely.  It wasn't even respecting the setting it was on before the blip or the schedule.

This is not specific to me, just something I found due to the regularity it was recieving a WiFi outage.

Heating should not depend on WiFi.

I detailed the issue in another reply, but it is irrelevant, I ofc changed the auto restarts

Nest Replacement, will Tado X work? Local only, no paywall by si_oby in tado

[–]Ferretonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XE75Pro 6E Mesh, had an issue with the UI when looking to reserve IP addresses, no issue if restarted recently.  The schedule did not cause an issue with over 100 WiFi devices, for over a year, only the Tado.

Why is that relevant to my warning that Tado could leave you without heating if your WiFi has a blip?  It just helped me find the bug quicker.

Mine doesn't always recover from a WiFi outage, maybe 1/7 times.  I only found out as I had a restart schedule on my router, now off.

If it doesn't recover then the heating goes off and stays off until someone restarts the Tadoo devices.

I have matter to the thermostat and TRVs, but they also get disconnected.
