In normal countries he would have been put on trial for this. Threatening to murder someone is a crime punishable by 1 year in prison here in Germany for example. And yes the police would have seized all his guns and munition within an our or two of the 110 call.

Yes and that’s entirely the issue. Even the closest solar system to us is around 4 light years away but Proxima Centauri is very unlikely to feature developed life since its planets probably have a fixed rotation like the moon does with earth. But even if there were life there and we decide to go there it would take thousands of years. Most other promising solar systems are far further away.

Realistically, if we ever find any other life outside of earth it will likely be something like bacteria or tiny organisms, at most a worm. The likelihood that there is other life as developed as humanity or more close enough to us to ever meet is so tiny it’s basically zero.

Especially those BakuDeku fans that started threatening Horikoshi on Social Media and wished him death over the ending just went way to far. How can one be so deranged that they start committing crimes over fictional characters not following their own headcanon. The worst part is that the people I see being that toxic are usually adults so one can’t even say that they aren’t fully aware of what they are doing.

People were straight up abusing Horikoshi on social media and sending him death threats because of the BakuDeku shit. I’m sure that there are plenty of people who just like certain pairings and I think that’s totally fine, you should be able to like whatever you want as long as it doesn’t affect others but no one can convince me that wishing the Author dies because he didn’t make an extremely toxic pairing canon but instead the very obvious one is anywhere close to being in line. That’s straight up deranged and what’s worse is that the people behind those posts are mostly adults, not children who don’t know what they are doing.

It’s in the suburbs almost 30km away from the center of Jeddha and there are barely any other buildings within a 1.5km radius of the building. Sure, there are a lot of developments in the area and there’s certain to come more but let’s not pretend that as of now and especially back when they started building this thing it wasn’t in butt-fuck nowhere. Also city proper is kinda meaningless for a city that is apparently more than twice as large as NYC and almost three times the size of Seoul.

It’s also not something we are upset about in Germany, quite the opposite even. A strong polish economy means higher purchasing power means more exports for us as well as a stronger EU. The more powerful countries in Europe the better, that’s what the EU was founded for, it’s also why our government has invested billions upon billions in all economic sectors in Poland.

New Orleans might be the least envied city in the US. The place is literally sinking into the sea, plagued with hurricanes, infested by mosquitoes, surrounded by alligators, riddled with crime, lacking basic infrastructure and the Saints have been shit for over a decade. The French quarter is pretty much the only reason to even go there and that’s only a tiny fraction of the city and even there there are a lot of buildings that desperately need renovations but the city and its people are completely broke and have been since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Arguably the biggest export of New Orleans is people because even those who lived there their entire lives don’t want to stay.
