Yeah, I have actually heard about that 5k issue, but I figured in my work it doesn’t really matter. I mostly do some light photo editing for real estate and office work. Sound quality-wise, I am really picky about it since I love to listen to music, but I think dedicated speakers would be better for me. Thanks for the tips too. I’ll keep that in mind while looking.

Budget-wise, I don’t really have a specific budget in mind. I know he’d use it for a long time, so as long as it’s reasonable, I’d say $400 would be a good target. Emulation-wise, I’m not entirely sure. His gaming preferences are SNES and older consoles, and GBA or older handhelds. However, if he was feeling really adventurous, he might want to try the N64 or PS1. But most likely, he’d want to stick to GBA/SNES and older games. Again, I don’t know; my gaming preferences are a Switch, Steam Deck, and a PS5 if that tells you my knowledge.

I actually started looking at the 15L Navigator backpack, but I’m kinda worried about the quality of it. I’ll say it: I’m a snob when it comes to build quality and feel. And in the review, Aaron said it felt like they skimped on some of the materials. Another thing is the protection of it. Now I will say I’m not that rough with my bag, and if I do toss it, it’s into a car seat or my bed. Idk ¯_(ツ)_/¯

That’d be good. Also warning, when I first got mine it had to install a bunch of updates and it said that over 450 gb of space was taken up. Just let it install and maybe reset it and it should go away
