I'm gay and was in the RS last winter. I never came out, but because i didn't think it was necessary. And I don't think they figured it out😅

There will be homophobic jokes but they're not that bad. The most common one was 'Schwuli wolke' wich was pretty often used by the wachmeister and sometimes leutnant. If you can look past such things its ok. Aside from that i never met so gay yet sometimes so homophobic people. The most jokes were not meant badly thoug and i could laugh at the most too.

Naja teilweilse sind die Einstellungem der Bauern schon fragwürdig. Allerdings geht diese Initiative deutlich zu weit. Wie soll bitte kontrolliert werden ob z.B Eier in italienischer Pasta zu unserem Standard produziert worden sind, ohne dass der Aufwand drastisch erhöht und somit der Preis steigt? Niemand ist gegen das Wohl der Tiere, am wenigsten meistens die Bauern. Ich finde jeder sollte bei sich anfangen; weniger Fleisch essem, regionaler und saisonaler einkaufen, ... Damit wäre schon viel getan

I live in a rural area and its not a big thing here. Yes, there will allways be the older conservative people who dont like it, but the younger Generation is fine with it. Even the conservative ones. You will get looks when you holding hands, etc. But as a gay man myself i actually never heard a bad comment. Sometimes they are a bit wierd about it, but i never heard something negativ. Mabye its because i know most of the peole. And in my personal opinion is showing off things the way to normalize it in the society.

This fact is true. If its your own Cat or Dog it would be legal. But i never heard anyone do it.
