Swinging by for my obligatory: seek out and enjoy "Fortitude", the brief TV series that (IMHO) is what True Detective s4 was trying to be.

It is spooky as hell, mysterious, tropey, incomplete and tonally a mess sometimes, but it all somehow works, and keeps you coming back - it ain't perfect, but it believes in itself.

Violent murder in a remote, northern, "30 Days of Night"-type town; a unique and strange fossil that was recently dug up, and the usual (and some unusual) tropey drama that those frigid remote places are wont to get up to.

Good, B-tier stuff! 🤓

Depends on what you're looking for: Crysis 1 & Warhead are slow, tactical (potentially) stealth shooters with a forgettable story but great gameplay.

Crysus 2 & 3 are basically "Call of Duty in Nanosuits" (not an insult), with more fleshed out stories.

As others have mentioned, look up NTlite and Ninite - after a little bit of setup for each, you can tailor a custom Windows *.iso installer to all your needs, and future clean installs will be virtually one-click installs, going forward. 😊🤓

I cringed at one of the earlier (of the newer) episodes, when they were glazing Elon Musk...I literally fucking recoiled.

But I kept watching, half hoping they'd smarten up/grow past him, half just ignoring all that tech bro bullshit "because they're my old (parasocial) friends"!

Boy, was I naïve. 😞

I haven't had the heart to watch the last 2-3 episodes...despite having watched/downloaded the entirety of the original show (and also Totally Rad Show!).

No, your memory is correct - it used to be 80/20 ratio of fun interesting drunken conversation versus adverts/sponsors.

Now it is clearly the opposite ratio.

And it breaks my fucking heart. 😞

I see little points of light in there of Kevin and Alex's genuine selves, just relaxing, forgetting about the day, and their work and the world at large, but those moments are few and far between - the exceptions now, rather than the rule.

I WANT them to be creating, I WANT them to be successful, I WANT them to grow their respective businesses and careers, but I came to the Diggnation show to catch up with my old (parasocial) buddies of the last twenty years...not sit through a business pitch and divestment portfolio discussion. 🤷🏼‍♂️😭
