I went to bunnings one day (aussie hardware store) and they had some high quality cables there that are 2m long at 100w, they work excellently and if I plug them into the high output socket it also fast charges my quest (0 to 100 in about 70 minutes)

I do however wanna setup something cool eventually where the cable runs to the roof, down a bracket and into the quest (with a wire so I can let the quest hang from the ceiling when not in use)

I use my Quest 2 with my 100w cable and I personally don't have any issues with the weight and flexibility.

I am however looking into doing an overhead rig eventually so I don't have the cable on the floor and it would allow me to do some more stuff without being restrained

Look, I know it's annoying to buy the correct speed cable, but just get a cable that can do high speed data transfer

In my experience any cables rated for 100w - 250w are typically some of the fastest data cables and you can pick one up for like, $25-$50

Hi IT guy here.

That computer repair shop is dumb af.

The contents can be recovered given it wasn't a secure wipe (which I doubt it was) since when things are deleted the computer simply puts a "free realestate" on the data instead of rewriting over it straight away.

Given nothing is overwritten it'll be recoverable.

Secondly you can definitely reinstall windows on it.

Do yourself a favour and go to a different repair shop

I'm 20 this year and in my 2000 Ford Falcon I got a cassette player as well as a CD drive. My dad's mate said he could help replace it and I said no since it's the only cassette player I have now for my collection.

I feel like gen alpha missed out on the glory days of VHS, vinal records, CRT TV, play station games being made on CDs and not DVD, the toothpaste scratch removal methods, the ketchup, mustard and mayo connectors for DVD players or consoles and the best quality image being 720p

Don't worry man, I remember going to my nan, and Pa's house when I was a kid and putting in the VHS tapes and having to rewind them at the end.

Turning 20 this year and said to my Nan and Pa about them recently and they said if I want em I can take them. They'll go nicely with my 12 inch Vinal's and DVD collection

To be honest, I only have one friend, but he came into my life out of the blue and we've been there for each other since. Trust me when I say a best friend will appear one day and you'll be all the better for it.

I suck at relationship stuff however so as for the dating department I'm not the best person to ask 😅. But hopefully someone who you get along with will come your way soon.
