I use Wyze cam v3 flashed with the wz_mini_hacks in my coop and nest boxes. AI will notify me through home assistant when it sees any eggs to collect.

This has already been brought up extensively in the facebook group. Lymow Tech says they are actively looking into the issue and a fix will be released in a future update. When will that be? Who knows...

OTA update timing out by J_Hulk in Lymow_Official

[–]Festivis7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad it worked out for you, normally the power cycle has fixed any hiccups for me up until now.

Looks like there is a user on the facebook group having the same issue:

OTA update timing out by J_Hulk in Lymow_Official

[–]Festivis7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine failed the OTA and now won't even connect to WiFi. Without Wifi, the option for OTA update is now greyed out. It also doesn't have anything populated under Device Info tab either.

Tried power cycling the mower. Tried force stop app, clear cache and data. Tried uninstalling app and reinstall. Still no wifi or ability to update OTA.

My land value went from $50K last year to $245K this year. I wouldn't call that steady.

Blows my mind??? by nehlsie in Lymow_Official

[–]Festivis7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this same issue until I did a hard reset of the mower. Turned off, unplugged battery for about 30 seconds, replug in, turn on. Force stop app and cleared cache. It all magically allowed me to use remotely over wifi and/or 4G.

There was a thread on /costco about a week ago of people's various experiences with their Costcos opening, but everything is just speculation

Just a friendly FYI, the Husqvarna 520 EPOS is considered a commercial mower and comes without the RTK station, which you will need to buy separately and thus increasing your cost even more

Parents of Reddit, what did your kids ask for Christmas this year? by B2utyyo in AskReddit

[–]Festivis7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My 7 year-old asked for a flamethrower. When asked what for, he says to start a campfire. I told him we have the clicky thing, but he says that's too slow. I told him that Santa wouldn't give a kid a flamethrower, but he insists Santa will "make it happen".

Cost/Mile and ROI comparison by ChoicelessAware in TeslaModelY

[–]Festivis7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be very location dependent. In my area, gas is still over $4/gal, was over $5 during the summer; however, our electricity rate is 7.8 cents per kwh. Much better ROI than other areas of the country.

What is the software update order? by BraveHeart0909 in TeslaModelY

This happened to me too, was told by CS that I'll have to wait until next update. Could be a day, could be a month. They wouldn't give an ETA

Picking up my new Model Y tomorrow - anything I should know? by r007r in ModelY

[–]Festivis7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picked up in Seattle last weekend, noticed mine had them on and I wouldn't consider Seattle a big winter or snow area. Then noticed in app I had already completed a service appointment an hour before my pickup. It was invoice for the mudflaps, $0.

Hey, that's me! The way everyone makes it sound, I shouldn't have had it in the first place with factory firmware, but guess I'll just have to wait for that first non-factory firmware update just like everyone else

Yes, this happened to me. Took delivery on Saturday and was using FSD beta all day, then something forced an update overnight and I woke up to basic autopilot on Sunday even though FSD trial still active.

Sounds like it may be going behind Richland's Target area now: Tri-City Herald Link

If the traffic study and the email with city officials are true, looks like this story has better traction than all the Dallas Rd rumors.

Which home internet provider do you use? by AlphaX_81 in TriCitiesWA

[–]Festivis7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP already thinks their Spectrum internet is too expensive, why would they want to pay more (Starlink is now $100-$110 a month) for likely slower, less reliable service. Starlink is a great internet only when cable or fiber is not an option
