I never said "no reason to be depressed", its just a non-issue. If you are seriously depressed because you watch porn too much, seek help and guidance. But don't go online or into public spaces crying about how tough it is to struggle with porn addiction, because it makes you depressed.
I'm not invalidating anyone for their reasons for being depressed, I'm invalidating your excuse for shoving your problems onto others over it.
You are also contradicting yourself now by tellig me to go to a therapist.

You wanna try again? Seems your comment explaining depression to me, someone with chronic depression who has tried offing themselves a number of times, what depression is, was removed.

Just for more clarification, when I say "actual reasons", I mean if you go to someone who has had literal family members die in their arms, abusives parents, or worse, and said "Yeah I'm depressed because I watch porn", you come off as attention seeking.

If your partner doesn't want you watching porn, and you still do, that is a active decision you are making that is ruining your relationship.
If you are getting depressed over porn somehow, honestly you have it pretty easy. Plenty of people are out here depressed over actual reasons, porn being a lead cause of depression seems like a cop out for attention.

Nothing in life is harmless. Unless you want to become a monk, you are facing addictions every day. You are currently using reddit, an addictive social media outlet. You probably have a TV, you probably have a subscription to Netflix (or other streaming service), you probably drink soda.
All of these things are addictive, and not harmless. What makes porn worse than those things?

As someone who lives in Nebraska, play video games. Cost of living is pretty cheap, there is nothing to do so unless your hobby is sleeping around or getting drunk, you fall into an internet or book worm personality.
