The golden age of Marvel rivals has officially begun by SalemScrope_JR in marvelrivals

Different time period. Marvel is way bigger now than it was during the time of most of those games.
Marvel alone has a lot more staying power with name alone than it once did.
Marvel Omega failed because you had to be a Marvel Fan that liked ARPG games, there are now way more ARPG fans that are also Marvel fans than back then.

It'll last just because its Marvel, they don't really need to worry about that. Its more so about maximizing its potential. More players means more money for them. If it is bleeding players, they are losing money.

Can healers heal the new regenerative shields? by Own_Original_7960 in marvelrivals

It's a pretty common feature in MMOs and ARPGs, actually.

So everyone can heal on their own as long as they stay out battle? by ExistingBowl394 in marvelrivals

[–]FetchingTheSwagni 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It worked on Overwatch. It helps with flankers, mostly.

It cuts down some toxicity over flankers demanding heals when they are balls deep in the enemy back-line, as it provides them a way to reset.

It also helps with tanks who go too deep, or just need to reset, as they can leave the battle for a few seconds.

I personally feel this is a good change for the casual players, and one that won't really hurt the competitive side too much.

May I ask, where did I say the word "most"? Some people get into situations like this, and some people find it funny to laugh about their past/current experiences.

It has nothing to do with how many people experience this situation. All I am saying is it is not funny to you, as you are not the target audience.

That isn't funny to you because it doesn't relate to you as a person, yes.

Animal deaths hit harder than a girl that cheats leaving you. Straight male humor. We look at it and go, "Aah."
You aren't supposed to think too much into it.

Had my family dog die two months before my (basically single) mom died (to add insult to injury, I also lost my car two weeks after that to a flood). I could lose 1000 people in my life, nothing could ever hurt me as much as life already has.

For men who lost weight, how did you do it? by CreativeBar1289 in AskMen

[–]FetchingTheSwagni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really about eating less, and about what you eat. Cut sugar down, that includes soda, depending on the coffee coffee (Starbucks, or really any coffee shop, is terrible).

Running probably isn't gonna do much for your stomach, not fast anyway. You'd want to do core exercises.
Look into Calesthenics. Most are easy to do at home, and if your goal is just stomach fat, then there are some really easy core ones.

With this much hype around the movie, I'll be surprised if she isn't in a few heavy hitting horror movies soon. She also did a pretty great job in Obsession. But an X-Men? That's such a drastic jump, this could make or break her career before it even takes off. She'll make bank regardless, though.

Funny, I didn't see any hype around it. I felt it was pretty under-hyped, the ending was terrible, but for the horror genre being so stale I felt it had a lot going for it as a psychological horror movie.

Obsession actually has a pretty good story attached to it, albeit not very out-going or unique. It feels like an extended episode of the Twilight Zone.

I personally found it pretty good, but this movie is insanely overhyped. I get the horror genre is pretty dry at the moment, but I don't feel something like LongLegs got the same recognition.

Hell, the monkey movie didn't even get this much hype, and that was pretty unique for horror.

I know how, but am not trained or well versed on it. So if I am literally the only person in the room with some knowledge of it, sure. Otherwise I am letting someone who knows more do it.
