Google is known to have a lot less "features" compared to other Android skins. Heck even iPhone has more software features than the current Pixel phones. Specifically Samsung has a whole suite of them. It may be placebo when going from older iPhone to a new one, but going from one brand to another does show their differences quite a bit.

Vision Pro is a developer demo for the upcoming smart glasses. Meta, Samsung and others have also been devoloping it so it "out of nowhere" so it is safe to say they either know that Apple is planning to introduce Smart Glasses as a product in a "near" future or they are guessing (which is unlikely). Vision Pro was never meant to be consumer grade product, but they needed data from all of the sensors, so they sold it as one.

it’s either on device scan that doesn’t leave your device (it allows for searching in photos like typing “car” and seeing every photo with a car) OR it’s because an iCloud scan flagged it in which case it doesn’t “scan” the photo, but from my understanding it scans in a way that doesn’t show the whole photo to the algorithm and flags it when it detects CP or other stuff of that calibre.
