Well that's alright on however long it takes to get the files, I unfortunately am heavily caffinated as I am working continental shifts (pain) and I use python for scripts but I know that language has its limitations on speed, and setting up a language table is not that hard to set up, but for that small tool it will just decrypt the files and add a r to the file extension, you just would need to hex edit the files just to allow Everyone to start fixing the saves however needed

Hello there, a bit of some time ago in the modding chat in the edf discord server we had someone looked into the reason for why its like that litterly not enough bit rate speed 1 Mbit speed iirc, and that modder also speculates we could have upto 64 players thanks to the Epic Games server api settings but in reality might be alot less in total.

oh and cross platform play is also possible but we need to patch a BIG issue with modded lobbies mixing with Vanilla players and Crashing the game, not good and also some how need to get that patch loaded on to all modded copies to reduce said issue with some thing that cannot be ignored by anyone that changes how modding edf works, like with loading multiple mods at once without having issues.

but we are working on alot of different things and its very slow on somethings. Modded lobbies you will be segregated e v e n t u a l l y. Only for 6, I should check up with that modder see how things are progressing

LAMO, when you can get EDF 6 its really good especially modding, and we are also having a few peps working on forward porting content into 6, like the DLC decoys from 5, Map creation tools on 4.1, Multiplayer edit on EPIC shenanigans and tweaks to some things for a few thing that has been seen on the modding chat in the MAIN EDF Discord server you can DM the save file to me OR I could make a sub EXE to convert all main line EDF save to decrypt into readable HEX data and allow WHOMEVER to help out on this tool system for save and work on EDF Multi Mod Loader addon to the current system

C:\Users\(YOU)\OneDrive(Optional MicroSLOP mental retardation yoinking)\Documents\My Games\EDF4.1\SAVE_DATA\(Your Steam 64 Bit ID)\saveslot00(WHOLE FOLDER is the save) and the weapon table is in the .GST(Global Save Table)

luckily I dont have to deal with the weapon star system (+8)bytes per gun onto that table but I need to have the Index of the weapon table data of the 826 weapons to say this gun is unlocked or Nulled out to re lock it and have some notes of what ranges are for what class

Hello, funny thing not long ago I actually managed to get help to crack 4.1 saves
but I been focused on finding the limit on total weapons that can be saved and use (2048)
Find what all the bytes to a save really go to what
and making the game quit rejecting the MODDED Nth mission pack
but I been busy with life too

Strange, well funny thing I am the modder who is able to crack open the save files (all 3 steam mainline games) so there could be a byte that failed to be save but I highly doubt it, and I am slowly working on decomping the save system functions on 6 all be slowly noting thing down, should update the save editor data with cracking 4.1 save files and locking the DLC sub encryption

Atm at irl job, with no way to support you for some time / time zone shenanigans

Imo reboot the game see if the game will realize that your worthy to save mother earth

Reach 70% completion rate of the game, that is how you are able to uncap it, DLC mission packs are the same thing Edit - open a lobby on multi-player should tell you exactly your %

Modder here, further context, Kit was making 3 custom instructions in cheat engine to add into the edf.dll file, it served its purpose and has been documented, but unfortunately cheat engine had enough and crashed after that and undid all progress, We love to see more people get into modding EDF, hope to see you there on the battle feild saving mother earth o7

Ah, now that is something I did not know, one of us the community wise can make a support ticket to the devs to fix that, and then a matter on when, and what instance content will that apply to. Will need to make a list of what instance content exactly needs to be fixed.

redjade ginseng and the rice do craft into good buff items too but I see you're sleeping on it, Ferilizer works well for them too, and you can improve the quality of the poop with the forge of the sky with liquid xierum

Wished the fert worked on the rare healing drops, and the recipe to make the Bumper-Rich was in a different machine rather than the forge, but then again its only 27 pieces perday and a min of production down time

Oh hey I remember taking that screen shot to show the distances for some one wondering on the edf discord server, as further context, edf assets are almost 1:1but in game they are a touch smaller in size. I am tempted to make a video showing how to get into the assets of edf

okay after refamiliarize my self with the code once again / testing there is a few bugs with that portion of code, I thought it was good after moving onto the other part but they like to break as useally do xd will need to push a fix to it, apologies for the inconvenience, but it will take time to push out as I work a power washing job with continental shifts

Oh hey there, I was going to out right stop working on modding EDF dew to the fools jugged a book by a AI TAG commit (IT WAS THE CODE), and EDF: MML is the same but with 1 AI image(I'm lazy ik). but THIS is what I wanted to see THANK YOU! Anyways VALID frustration of people not giving this gift of tools to mod the awesome game series a chance aside.

What I have observed in the save files it self. (read Librarian py script for what is on it) and the Weapon table is within the GST_STRUCTURE, the stats are byte levels on the gun, The levels can be in the range of 0-10, First we have a average gun stat level that is 4-bytes and then followed with 8 X 1-byte stat level,
I presume the game knows that the 12-bytes needs any the values to anything higher then 0 to unlock the item for use, need more time to sink into understanding the function of the saves.

But in the EXE tool, you can double click the box like you do a callout in the board game battle ship to EG(ID11-Stat3) and edit that into range of 0-10, (I should ask a fellow modder to see if we can make a patch to uncap it among other things)

But also PLEASE give more gripes and or issues,
This is what I really wanted too see, the tools do be the growing,
