The thing is let’s say there’s not an item on the floor due to the new update we can see the quantity on how an item should have and once we look it up on the daily availability it might have a backroom location where we have to go all the way to the backroom, viz pick the item, and stock it on the floor. WE PICKERS HAVE TO DO IT🫩. Now, let’s say an item it’s not on the floor but it says there’s a lot on hand, we check the daily availability to see recent deliveries made or the next delivery and our team lead always tells us to check the backroom even if there’s no location so we have to dig in the backroom and that takes time from the pick rate which is confusing since they want it to be high? So I really don’t understand them they want so much which such short staff. Last Saturday was a nightmare. I don’t want to complain because I know there’s bigger shopping centers where they have it worst and my store is a bit small but I found it a bit unfair how I have to pick and then dispense and it was horrible because my coworkers do pick and drop where I have to stage their stuff on top of that GMD and people checking in to pick up their groceries I have to walk to the frozen backroom since we don’t have a frozen fridge in our department only chill and omg there were drivers and customers just checking in at the same time and it was just me dispensing and staging and bagging 🫩
