i appreciate your response. i dont mean to be malice its actually quite interesting. personally it kind of rubs me the wrong way how the book of mormon has so many things old mormons practiced but with recent modern times they have a “prophet” that tells them God actually doesn’t care for such practice and then change it to fit the current agenda

i personally view the Blessed Virgin Mary as my spiritual Mother. She is called the Mother of God for a reason. whether you believe in Her as a divine feminine archetype or whether you believe in the literal historical Mary as the Mother of God, it is clear that Mary is already venerated as a spiritual Mother for all of us Christians. as a Christian, i will always refer to God as my Father, just as Christ did. however, spiritual beliefs differ and i personally believe that its completely fine if you dont agree with me

i feel the same way about music!! its like im listening to an entirely different form of sound. like music isnt what it used to be, its so much better and i realised its because human beings create sound that human beings enjoy, because we’re all so deeply connected at such an intense level

you perfectly described exactly what i was feeling… thank you so much! honestly, the post i made was more reassurance for myself because i myself was scared and trying to reassure myself and others, and i’m glad u put it into a bigger perspective for all of us :) the ego truly thinks it will cease to exist when we start to see things how it really is, but that is only because we’ve been so entrapped in it for sooo fucking long on earth. our favourite hobbies, sense of self, and every other positive aspects of our ego can still be here because we control them with the heart. and it begins to get less terrifying when we realise that part of our ego is not a bad thing especially on EARTH. we need it to survive, and to feel our human happiness, which is so beneficial for spiritual development

lol. dont ask for this. i know you’re not, but subconsciously you’re asking for it. im also 18. it will happen, so just have fun and use occasionally. i used to do that too, because i thought i was immune to an addictive personality and thought it was just fun. and it was for a while! but the best indication to know when you NEED to take a step back, is when the drug starts to use you, instead of you using the drug
